My calendar
A month read through your day master — the same scale as Today
About this reading
What is a day pillar (iljin)?
It is the pair of characters — one heavenly stem, one earthly branch — attached to a given day. It is counted the same way the day pillar of a birth chart is counted, and the cycle runs sixty days from Gapja to Gyehae. Those two characters are what decide what kind of day today is.
What do the colours on the calendar mean?
They mark how that day's earthly branch meets your own day branch. A harmony reads as a day that carries force; a clash reads as a day that pushes back. A day left unmarked is an ordinary one that neither lifts nor drags.
Can I just pick the good days and ignore the rest?
A day pillar is the grain of a day, not a verdict on success. Work done on an ordinary day often lands, and work done on a good day sometimes slips. For something that happens once — a wedding, an opening — it is better to go through date selection, where the Twelve Officers and the Yellow and Black Road are weighed as well.
